Wonderputt is a game of mini-golf that is set in a space colony in the future. The game consists of 18 holes that need to be finished with some time limits on each round. The sci-fi aspect of the game and the entertaining music makes it a wonderful mini-putt game.
Wonderputt is not a simple game; rather it requires critical thinking and analysis to solve the different types of scenarios that are presented in each round. Each round begins with a visual storyline in which the ground, so to speak, is created in front of you using asteroids, spaceships etc. In many scenarios, cow-like harvesters are used to make the grounds.
The setup itself is that of a space colony, with buildings, walkways, helipads, gardens and other urban structures. The colony has been designed keeping the different scenarios in mind, and different parts of the colony are used to make the grounds on which you can play your game. So, you play your game of mini-golf in a space colony that is frequented by spaceships, attacked by asteroids, and has other such sci-fi characters. All the while, your score is tallied as you go from one hole to the next. All these make for a very interesting game. There are a total of 18 holes, which makes for a complete round of golf or mini-golf.
One of the best aspects of this game is the graphics. This is seen directly in the way the player pushes the ball; you can control the force or speed of the push by the distance from the mouse cursor to the ball, and this force is graphically displayed as an arrow with variable width.
The music of Wonderputt is slow paced instrumental that lets you keep your own rhythm as you go from one hole to the next. Overall, this is a very interesting puzzle and mini-golf game that can be played to relax after a day's work.
